Originally established in 1989 at the old Heritage Brewery site on Anglesey Road, Burton Old Cottage Brewery has operated out of our current premises on Hawkins Lane since 2003.

We're proud of our name and our continued association with the Old Cottage Tavern (previously called the British Oak, as commemorated in our Oak Ale brand). We're also proud of our location in the heart of Burton - right at the centre of brewing expertise in the UK.

However, we're proudest of all of our excellent beers and stouts! Under new ownership, we've recently increased production in order to enable us to satisfy an ever-increasing market, but Head Brewer Alan Christie remains absolutely committed to the traditional, time-proven recipes and quality ingredients for which we are renowned locally.
